We are looking for an experienced Senior Ranger Animal Management who is self-motivated, has strong customer service skills and great attention to detail.
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Animal Management, you will be required to provide a high-level of customer service to protect and enhance community amenity and public safety through enforcing relevant legislation. This position will be required to undertake investigations and action complex customer enquiries relating to domestic animal management.
You will be responsible for providing training, guidance, motivation and support to Rangers and provide education, assistance and advice to animal owners on responsible pet ownership and animal management related matters. You must demonstrate cultural competency's including experience in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from culturally diverse population groups.
As this role is required to assist in investigations, keep accurate records and assist in the collation and analysis of data the successful applicant must have a high level of written and verbal skills.
About you:
For you to be successful in this role you must hold the following licences:
- Possession of a Class C Drivers Licence
- Possession Working with Children's Clearance or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or the ability to obtain in 6 months
- Minimum three (3) years regulatory services experience
- National Police Records Check
