About the role:
The main aim of the position is to design or review and appraise traffic management plans for various areas of City of Darwin, within its designated road network and to undertake audits to ensure they are implemented as approved. The role will also mentor other staff in Temporary Traffic Management.
About you:
As our subject matter expert, you'll bring knowledge and experience to the design and implementation of Traffic Management Plans. Specifically, your knowledge will make you well-informed on legislation, regulations, Bylaws and other standards associated with traffic management. Mentoring will come naturally to you, with the skills and experience you'll bring to the position, as you work with our in-house staff who are developing their Traffic Management reviewer skills, and you'll advise our key stakeholders where required with your extensive knowledge.

You will have:
- Traffic Management Designer (TMD) Cat 1 and Cat 2 qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience with design, appraisals and implementation of Traffic Management Plans
- General Construction Industry - White Card
- Current C Class Drivers License
- National Criminal History Check
