City of Darwin is looking for an experienced Manager Capital Projects to lead a team of 4 direct reports.
About the Opportunity:
The Manager Capital Projects is responsible for leading the delivery of City of Darwin's annual capital works program. The role is pivotal in managing and liaising with various stakeholders including external agencies, inter-government departments, and Elected Members for the planning and delivery of annual capital works projects and asset renewal programs.
About YOU:
The successful person will have demonstrated experience in managing a team and delivering programs and /or multiples projects at the same time. Additionally, the person will have high level of negotiations skills, HR knowledge, WH&S awareness, reporting experience (Financial + Program Delivery), excellent systems skills and capable of building and maintaining external and internal relationships.
YOU will have:
- Degree level qualifications in Engineering/Project Management or demonstrated equivalent and relevant experience to the role
- Minimum 5 years' relevant operational experience
- Minimum of three (3) years leadership/supervisory experience.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- National Criminal History Check
