We have a full-time permanent role available for a highly engaged Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional to join our Human Resources and Safety team. We are open to candidates with different levels of professional experience as we look for someone who is the right fit for our organisation and our people. The remuneration package for a Level 5 is $88,528.02 per annum or Level 6 is 95,527.33 per annum plus 12% superannuation, depending on your demonstrated work experience. The WHS Advisor position is a hands-on role and, under the guidance of the WHS Manager, will be assisting with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of City of Darwin's WHS Management System and associated policies and procedures. As a subject matter expert with great people and engagement skills, you will be providing best practice WHS advice, training, coaching and mentoring to internal stakeholders in a manner that fosters a positive safety culture whilst ensuring legislative requirements are met.
